The tension value is set according to the properties of the substrate, such as the substrate thickness, tensile strength, hardness, etc., and the specifications of the film roll. Generally speaking, the initial tension of the substrate with high tensile strength, hardness and thickness is relatively large (e.g. PET), while the initial value of the tension of the substrate with low tensile strength and high stretch rate is relatively small (e.g. BOPP, PE); the wider the film roll, the larger the initial tension.
